Founders:

We are two brothers, living in Rishikesh and competing in asana competitions internationally. We founded Vinyasa Yogashala in 2015 to share our skills and knowledge with students, ensuring a spread of a proper practice of yoga throughout the world.

In our 200-hour teacher training, you will learn the physical aspect of yoga as well as the theory and pedagogy of the practice. This is an intensive Yoga Teacher Training, completed within the span of one month. Students receive a basic training in the physical and spiritual aspects of yoga. Our highest goal, however, is to show you a way of living life on a spiritual path; something you will truly take with your from your experience in India.

Under the instruction of experienced Yoga teachers, each instructing in their area of expertise, Vinyasa Yogashala provides an exclusive yoga teacher training experience. Based on the creative power of Vinyasa Flow, Hatha Yoga, adjustment and alignment, Pranayama, Meditation, Yoga Anatomy, Ayurveda, Mantra, Philosophy, Mudras and more. We will ensure our graduates are fully equipped to be a successful Yoga Instructor in their own countries, to spread the best knowledge of Yoga.

Our Vinyasa flow classes focus on linking movement with breath with asanas in proper sequence. Our Vinyasa Flow classes aim to show our students the positive effects vinyasa flow has on the body as well as how to create and execute a proper vinyasa sequence.

Our Hatha yoga class is followed by the traditional way of asana practice. Our classes are designed using a step-by-step method that helps to build strength and flexibility for students at all levels. We will cover over 108 asanas along with their corrections and alignments. Our Hatha yoga classes aim to help our students deepen their practice by bringing their awareness into their body, breath, and mind.

In adjustment & alignment, we make students more aware of the proper alignment and breathing of each asana. We also cover the different ways to move into and out of a pose safely. The aim is to create fixed, repetitive postures and gestures which can snap the practitioner out of instinctive habit pattern and establish a more refined consciousness.

Bandhas: A Bandha is defined as “binding” tie, hold back, restrain, or lock.
