300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh

I have 9 and a half years of extensive experience as a yoga teacher, and yoga is definitely something I am extremely familiar with. I am Daye from Canada, and here is my perspective on Vinyasa Yogashala in Rishikesh. It took me months to search for the best yoga school in Rishikesh, and indeed I chose some other school for my 300 hrs YTTC program before coming to India, but I wasn’t satisfied with their teachings, so I decided to opt for some other yoga school in Rishikesh. It was difficult and challenging because of several reasons. When you book a yoga school, you expect a lot in return; even your excitement to learn something new stays stronger than ever. But then I realized that I hadn’t been able to make the right decision in choosing the right yoga school. So there’s when a friend of mine suggested to me Vinyasa Yogashala in Rishikesh. Ohh, thanks for his suggestion! I quickly enrolled in their ongoing session of, 300 hrs YTTC program. Although I was a bit late from the schedule since I joined after a few classes, the teachers were extremely helpful. There was so much to cover, especially because I chose the multi-disciplinary course.

Since I was five days late, I was scared. They helped me cover the syllabus without any rush and also dedicated their time separately to me so that I could cover the syllabus on time. Indeed it was such a kind gesture that I wasn’t expecting. Also, the teachers here are incredibly knowledgeable and skilled. Their expertise speaks of their years of practice. I want to speak of Guru Ji Shivam, my anatomy teacher, during the course. The more I praise him, the less. I loved his way of delivering knowledge; he was precise, clear to the point, and backed by reasons and examples. Anatomy is not an easy subject, and it has much to memorize. But Guru Ji made it easier for us by teaching interestingly and innovatively. He also provided us with additional study materials so that I could practice during and after the course. Everyone at Vinyasa Yogashala is down to earth, they push you to learn more and achieve goals, and such support is hardly seen elsewhere.

The staff here, especially Rahul, has been so helpful. I couldn’t understand some things, so he helped me get them sorted. People are humble here; it came to me as a surprise since I have been to other yoga schools before, so this is something new and heart-winning. It feels as if Vinyasa Yogashala is a home in the beautiful Rishikesh. Also, I would mention the food; they call it Saatvik food. I mean, why didn’t I try it before? It was delicious and nutritious, served hot and made with love. The chef (I couldn’t recall the name) ensured we had full bellies and happy hearts.

Yes, the training they offer is not restricted to the curriculum; it is beyond that. They tell you why, how, what, and who of everything. Once in class, we were discussing forms of meditation, and someone started an intense discussion on it. Guru Ji answered every question calmly and reflected on its meaning, not just the method, which helped me the most since several of my students also ask similar questions, which are sometimes difficult to tackle. There was logic, reasoning, and practice in all the classes. I have observed very few schools give freedom to teachers to go beyond and teach their students, and indeed Vinyasa’s teachers look happy and content which again gives us a cheerful environment during sessions.

I loved the fire ceremony we held at the beginning of the session. It was beautiful, we chanted mantras, and Guru Ji explained the meaning of each and every word of it. We said ‘svahah,’ which means offering oblation to the gods. A fire ceremony is not complete without saying this. Then we also danced, and everything was so positive and full of good energy around us. Also, the philosophy class gave me a whole new purpose in life, and while I will be in Canada, I am going to apply this in my life. I wish I could take a flight and go back and learn, but I will soon come back and enhance my yoga training from Vinyasa Yogashala. I would not just recommend you, but I would advise you to learn from them. They offer a whole new level of transformation.

Hi, I am Felipe. I have recently learned about the advanced 300 hrs yoga teacher training program from Vinyasa Yogashala in Rishikesh, and I would like to highlight the major reasons for choosing them as my yoga training school.

So I searched for the school on my own. Since I do have earlier experience of attending the 200 hrs of YTTC in Rishikesh from another school almost two years back in which, I found some glitches and loopholes in their teaching pattern that made my research for the right yoga school even more intense for this course. For the past three months, I hustled with my search and finally booked Vinyasa Yogashala in Rishikesh, and I am 100% satisfied with everything, including the way they help you register through the course. Their way of handling things is truly appreciated.

Here are my reasons:

  1. They maintain the industry standards set by Yoga Alliance USA and consistently update their policies to ensure the highest level of professionalism.
  2. They have established a positive image and esteemed reputation within the yoga community and this is what makes them the most reliable yoga school in the whole Rishikesh.
  3. They create courses, teaching methods, and curricula that match students' goals. They have crafted educational programs, instructional methods, and academic plans that perfectly align with the aspirations and objectives of learners.
  4. Their team includes top-tier teachers who are passionate, experienced, and knowledgeable in their respective fields. You can trust their expertise and dedication to help you achieve your goals. Shivam Sir, Sadhu Ji, Tanushree ma’am and Aman Sir who is also the youngest yoga teacher there and he teaches yin-yan yoga.
  5. They offer a reliable and dedicated commitment, round-the-clock support, and an engaging itinerary packed with exciting excursions. Thanks to Rahul and his team. Always there to attend our little demands no matter what time it is. They take hospitality quite seriously.
  6. They handle all the details, from preparing meals to arranging transport. Saatvik Bhojan is spot on. I am a vegetarian so it was a heavenly feast for me.
  7. They also provide all the necessary amenities and supplies for a successful learning experience. Resources such as books or learning material are always handy with them. You can quickly grab them after your sessions.
  8. They have a great online presence where you can get all the latest news on upcoming courses, events, and programs.
  9. It is also worth mentioning that the school has an active and warm community of students and alumni, which further adds to its credibility. I am also connected with their network and it is great to know that some of the world’s best teachers have been students at Vinyasa Yogashala.
  10. Their experienced faculty, extensive resources, and commitment to excellence make them the best choice for learning yoga. Their teachers are International Yoga asana champions.
  11. Even their excursion programs are commendable and help set the mood for learning. You talk about taking the holy dip in ganges, dancing to bollywood songs, temple visits, trekking in nature, walking on the beach, river rafting, sports - almost everything that cheers you up physically.
  12. Their pricing is very competitive when compared to other similar schools in comparison to what kind of quality training they offer.
  13. They held various ceremonies, activities, and yoga retreats which further broadened the scope of learning. Like fire ceremony,  physical and mental well-being like breathing exercises, meditation, swimming, etc. The ultimate aim of these activities was to encourage individuals towards self-discovery and spiritual growth.
  14. They blend traditional forms of yoga with modern practices to impart holistic knowledge.

Overall, I would conclude that Vinyasa Yogashala is the perfect choice. With their help, I am confident you will reach your goals and develop a deeper understanding of yoga.  The instructors are experienced, kind and knowledgeable. They provide an environment of safety and acceptance so that students can feel comfortable to explore the practice of yoga. The school offers a wide range of classes, from beginner to advanced, tailored for each individual’s needs. Through their various retreats and events, Vinyasa Yogashala strives to create a community of support and growth, connecting students with teachers and practitioners from all over the world. With their help, you can find your own path to wellness and reach new heights in your yoga practice.I highly recommend Vinyasa Yogashala to anyone pursuing the 300 hrs YTTC program or any other course in Rishikesh. It is truly an amazing place to learn and grow as a teacher with them!

Ayurveda

Ayurveda is the oldest and the most natural system of medicine that originated in India years ago. It is approximately 3000 years ago medicinal science. Ayurveda is derived from two words, "Ayur" means "Life" and "Veda" means "Science", thus Ayurveda describes the meaning "Science of Life" or 'Knowledge of Life'. As per Ayurvedic Science, the body is made up of five elements, i.e. Akash (Ether), Vayu (Air), Agni (Fire), Apas (Water), and Prithvi (Earth). These 5 elements create 3 doshas namely, Kapha, Vata and Pitta. When these are balanced, then an individual remains healthy and when these are imbalances, an individual remains ill. Ayurveda helps in balancing all of these to give you a healthy lifestyle.

The 300 Hours Yoga Course explains,

  • What is Ayurveda?
  • Fundamentals of Ayurveda

When it comes to Yoga, any place that manages to touch you internally , be it mental or emotional , is a good place to learn and to be grateful for and Vinyasa Yogashala is 1 such place. The people of this place, who manage it, run it & teach here- they are a family and they make you their family by the love & responsibility they share for their students. I'm someone who has done multiple TTCs and yet I was able to learn so much more especially from the Asana classes that are really good, technical & detailed. The excursions that they took us on are going to stay with us forever. The extra activities like sound healing and Kirtan were amazing experiences that were healing on so many different levels. We'll forever be grateful to Ashish ji, Tanu ji, Vinay ji, Rahul ji, Vikas ji, Shivam ji, Deepak, Prithvi, Arushi and the staff for their kindness and support.

I always wanted to do a Yoga teacher training course while I was teaching English abroad. My mum introduced me to the wonderful practice of yoga 10 years ago when I was 24 years old. No matter where I am in the world or whatever challenges I face, Yoga has always been my grounding practice. 18 months postpartum, after the birth of my miracle baby boy, I was searching for yoga courses and I gratefully came across the course by Vinyasa Yogashala. The content by Vinyasa Yogashala is extremely well spaced out, it is so helpful being a busy mum and I would look forward to my time every day when I would be able to practice an learn. The course is affordable and the guru’s have put through so much knowledge in helping us grow. It’s been a massive transformative journey with understanding myself and every aspect of Yoga. This course is highly recommended and if you have no intention of teaching yoga do this course for yourself. You will gain so much depth and a massive spiritual awakening that is life changing.

Just finished the 200H TTC and I am so grateful I choose this school. The teachers were amazing so knowledgeable and helpful. Throughout the course they would answer any question, go over and beyond to help me understand about asanas, yoga philosophy, anatomy, pranayama, meditation and offer their support whenever I needed to. I came here having experience of 3 years doing yoga and even in the first day I was blown away by how much I actually didn't know and how much more knowledge I could get out of this course. The facilities of the school were amazing, the food provided was always super tasty and made with so much care. And most importantly the psychological support and positive reinforcement I got from Ashish, Tanu and all the teachers really made me feel like I was part of their yoga family. If you are looking for not just a yoga class but a life changing experience you should book this school without a second thought.

Following the online teacher training. The course is really clear and thorough, very profound. The teachers are very experienced en explain everything very good. It's a very complete course, not only the basics are covered, but they give you so many tips and advice for when you're teaching your own classes. You can ask anything at anytime, always a quick respons. Everyone is so helpful and understanding. I would recommend this course to everyone who wants to take their yoga to a deeper level! I can't wait to follow their courses on location!

I'm doing the 200 hours yoga teaching training course and I have been discovering that yoga is a lot more than I thought. It has been a rewarding and enchanting experience. All the teachers instruct very well and are so dedicated to what they do. I recommend the online course for people who can manage their own time, for you can study whenever you want, but there is a necessity to separate a time to the readings and videos, for in the course there is a lot of content, which I'm in love with.

A life changing experience to live. Teachers are amazing, highly professional and knowledgeable. If you are planning to create a discipline in your life with yoga, this is the place to be. The food is fully vegetarian and healthy with variety of meals. The institute is run by a family so you feel that in every step of your journey in the course, you have someone to take care of you. The accommodation is clean, hygienic and the cleaning service happens everyday, laundry service is also there in case you need.

Namaste 🙏 I've completed my 200 hours teacher training course at Vinyasa Yogashala. To begin with, searching for a good yoga institute is a daunting task. I'm super glad that I chose Vinyasa Yogashala - it is undoubtedly one of the best yoga institutes in Rishikesh. Period. I was awestruck by the sheer hardwork and sincerity by the staff and faculty to make you feel home and comfortable from day one. The teachers are really knowledgeable and are subject matter experts in their respective fields. Food was delicious and apt for yoga practice. The course was nicely balanced including theory and practicals with enough emphasis on teaching methodology. During our day offs, weekend excursions and fun events were organized, which really rejuvenated the mind and induced a sense of camaraderie among students. I would highly recommend Vinyasa Yogashala. Definitely coming back again in future for 300 hour course. Thanks! 🙂
